To assure a successful outcome to you airshows some preparatory work and logistic needs are required.
These are necessary both to offer airshow routine's excellence, and to ensure total safety for the
pilot and audience.
General Requirements
- Location: Almost any location is suitable for the Silver Chicken's airshow routine.
Nevertheless, any aerobatic maneuver is strictly forbidden over towns or built-up areas.
- Authorizations: Airshow Organizers are responsible for attaining any necessary authorization, including
Aeronautical, Civil, and Police whenever required. When needed, we may help and give advice.
Both airplane and pilots have been certificated to fly aerobatics by the relevant Aviation Authority.
- Hours: The airshow routine may be performed from sunrise to sunset.
- Weather Conditions: The air display can be flown only according to VFR minima, i.e. minimum
visibility must be 5Km or more. Cloud base must be over 500m and there must be no visible precipitation.
- Insurance: An insurance coverage must be undersigned by the Event Organizers for any civil liability
regarding the event, according to current Laws. The Silver Chicken is covered for up to
Euro 5.000.000 for any liability.
Airplane Needs (Only in case of landing and remaining on Airshow's field)
- Runway: Minimum landing distance (LDA) 700m.
- Hangar: In case of overnight stay, proper hangar space must be available to host the plane during the night.
- Fuel and Oil: For each performance: 60 liters AVGAS-100LL, 20 liters FC5 paraffin oil for smoke system.
General Conditions
- Hotel Accommodation: Needed in case of overnight stay. Food and accommodation must be provided
by Organizers. Please consider that in airshow season we are away from home most weekends, therefore, a
comfortable accommodation is very much appreciated!
- Cost Reimbursement: There is no business in aerobatics, nevertheless, flying
this magnificent aircraft has some costs which we would like to have reimbursed for whenever we attend an event.
Reimbursement includes fuel- and other costs sustained to attend the event starting from our
homebase in Milano-Bresso.
- Bad Weather: In case the airshow is cancelled for bad weather, reimbursement will be nil only if the airplane
has not actually taken off from homebase. Otherwise only actual expenses will be reimbursed by Organizers.
- Money-back Guarantee: In case the Silver Chicken is unable to attend the event for technical reasons,
any cash advanced by Organizers for participation will be returned.
- Airshow forced cancellation: This is an Organizers risk which may be insured against. We decline any
liability for this. The same will be applied in case of cancellation for bad weather.
- Sponsors: The Silver Chicken is available for new sponsors, even related to single events.
- Gadgets and Merchandising: On request we supply promotional gadgets: pins, hats, T-shirts.
